Beautiful Weekend

This weekend was amazing. We never realize how much the cold dreary weather affects us until we get a warm sunny day. Jon and I had a date night on Friday while Beau stayed with Jon's parents. He and I went out to dinner which was a fun treat.

Saturday morning Jon went to work and I did a little shopping before going to pick up Beau at 11:30. Our neighbor and good friend Presley had her first birthday at her house at noon so that's why I picked up Beau so early. Courtney did an amazing job decorating for Presley's party and the food was great! We had a really fun time and Beau loved meeting everyone. Presley loved her cake and all her gifts. 

After the party we came home and Beau took a long nap. When he woke up we went for a stroll around the neighborhood. 

Sunday morning we went to Church of the Highlands and enjoyed every second. We finally found a church that feels like home and we are excited to go back next week. 

Once we got home, Beau ate lunch and then took a short nap. We then loaded up the car and went for a hike/bike ride up at Monte Sano state park. It was a blast. The weather was 68* and it was very sunny outside. 

We could not have asked for better weather and cannot wait for the time to change and the weather get warm!
