Day 2 of Year 2!

We have made it! One year of marriage down....forever to go! Jon and I were married on March 20th, 2010 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama. The weather was beautiful, nothing went wrong, everyone showed up and the reception at 5 Rivers was fabulous! It was one of the best days of my life and I am proud to say that Jon is my husband. We celebrated our anniversary at a local kayaking festival with lots of friends, beautiful weather, kayaking, mountain biking and camping in a tent. We had a blast! We are excited to see what year 2 will bring so let the good times roll!

Fagan Creek

Near our house in Huntsville runs this awesome creek called Fagan Creek. Most of the time the creek is dry with no water running through it but all that changed after the BIG rain we had yesterday and early this morning. This creek is part of the Land Trust of Huntsville and North Alabama and is not very long. As of this morning it was declaired at Flood Stage so I went down to take pictures. Here is what I saw:
