Our First Outing

One Saturday afternoon Jon and I thought it would be fun to take Beau on his first outing. We needed to run some errands and really wanted to get out of the house. So we drove down to a shopping center in Jones Valley to hit up a few stores. Jon put Beau in a little infant carrier and it actually worked pretty well! Beau was content for a little while!

In our minds we were going to go to a few stores and then be done. I had my list so I knew exactly what we needed so we could be in and out. The funny part was that it was not a quick trip. We went in one store and then dealt with a melt down because of a wet diaper and then he was hungry. The “quick” trip lasted for 3 hours! This was a slap of reality because we realized that going shopping with a baby was never going to be quick!
