Sick Boy

Beau started coming down with a 24 hour bug at the beginning of fall. He normally gets something this time of year so it did not surprise me. He woke up from his nap on saturday with a fever, runny nose and cough. All he wanted to do was sit in the chair with me and read books. If he is still for more than 2 mintues then I know something is up. Once he sat in the chair with me he did not want to move. He was pitiful. We enjoyed a day of snuggles and watching football. I can't say I minded a bit!

He took a few naps in the chair and his fever finally broke after a few hours. Once he started feeling better we walked outside and he enjoyed getting outside. He picked a flower for me. I guess it was his way of saying thank you for taking care of me :)

This boy is precious and the sweetest thing I know!

House for Sale

We had only two weeks to pack up our things and put our house up for sale in Huntsville so it was a crazy rush to get things done. This was the first house we purchased and a house we will never forget. It is awesome and we loved every thing about it! We are sad to put it up for sale but excited for our next adventure. It is currently still on the market so we hope some family will fall in love with it and make thier own family memories just like we did.

Mobile Bay

One of my favorite spots to go and relax is May Day Park which is right down from my parents house. It is a park that is on the bay and has a great little play ground. Beau and I go down there almost every day in the afternoon. *Jon and I actually got engaged down there. Beau loves to play on the slide, walk down the boardwalk to the bay and put his toes in the sand. Here are a few pictures of his frist time to actually sit down to enjoy the water and sand.

He LOVED it!

The Farm

Beau and I met Jon and his family at the farm about two weeks after being down in Daphne which was Labor Day weekend. I had Monday off so it was a perfect time to take a little trip. I had to work a full day on that friday so we planned to leave right after that. Mom got away from school early so she picked up Beau and got him fed. I rushed home, put everything in the car, we gave him a bath because he was so dirty from school then we were off. We left our house at 4:45 so I was excited that we would get to the lakehouse around 8pm. Well around Brewton the traffice came to a complete stop and we were stuck on the interstate for an hour. They closed down the north bound lanes so people were getting out of thier cars, walking around talking to other travelers. I decided to get Beau out of his car seat and put him in the front with me. He loved his freedome!

The traffice finally started going again and we were off but we were going to be so late. We finally got to the lake around 10pm and we were both exausted. The next day we spent a few hours at the farm. Jon and his dad had to bail some hay so we watched. It was a fun time.

Beau loves to be outside and wear his hat so this was a blast for him! He is such a boy!!

After we left the farm we headed back to the lake house for a nap and then a swim in the lake. It was a very relaxing weekend and we all enjoyed ourselves a lot!

Happy Labor Day!
